This was shot on the Canon EOS R6, recorded at 60fps, slowed down to 24fps. I used the CLOG3 color profile, in ProRES 422 codec recorded into the Ninja Atomos V. The audio was recorded on a Rode NTG microphone run into the Atomos V, as well. On the microphone the only protection was a foam sleeve. I should’ve used the “dead cat” as it was very windy, but fortunately the dual audio record saved me (the NTG mic has an option to record a second track at -20db to use in case the primary track clips, which in this case it did, so it came in handy). Edited in Premiere Pro and exported on H.264 in 4K. Music is from composer Trevor Kowalski of Epidemic Sound and the film is narrated by a British voiceover artist, Anthony Lund. And yes, I specifically requested the voice over work to sound like David Attenborough of Planet Earth (a series that is a big inspiration for what I do), so you may find this to be a bit tongue in cheek, which arguably it is, but I really enjoyed the process of creating this video in post production.
